Housekeeping Attendants
We are seeking part-time HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANTS who are energetic, fast learners, reliable, able to work alone as well as a team player.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate teamwork as well as able to work alone with a willingness to evolve with us as we continue to fulfil our vision to be leaders in the area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attentive to guest inquiries and complaints, promptly.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
- Able to work independently and follow instructions.
- A professional appearance and positive “can-do” attitude, with a team focus.
- A high attention to detail and proficiency.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform physical work, stand/walk for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
- Drivers license beneficial but not required, although own transportation required.
- Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Previous experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Report any/all maintenance issues.
DUTIES:
- Clean all areas of guest rooms (bathroom, beds, seating areas and patios).
- Change all linens including sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels.
- Laundry room duties as needed.
- Responsible for cleaning other areas of the hotel including hallway and common areas.
- Personal responsibility for safety use of all equipment, always.
- Knowledge of chemicals, cleaning products, including correct handling practises . Daily restock of all supplies and amenities.
- Ensure privacy and security of guest rooms.
