Elder Firewood Deliveries Begin Next Week Ahead of Schedule

May 7, 2025

Thanks to a donation from Thichum Forest Products, a Tla’amin Nation-owned business, the Nation is once again offering free firewood to Tla’amin Elders (60 +) and citizens with unique needs.

Firewood deliveries for Elders and Citizens with unique needs will begin as early as next week. Kaycee Mitchell will be calling eligible Citizens to confirm your delivery and provide an estimated arrival time. Please make sure you have a clear area in your yard to receive your cord of wood.

Firewood will be delivered in 16” lengths, unless otherwise requested. We’ve kept notes from last year to help make sure your needs are met.

If you need help stacking or re-splitting your wood, the Yard Works team is available. Contact Pam Wilson at pam.wilson@tn-bc.ca or 604-413-6869 to request assistance.
