The 2026 Elk Harvest Allocation is a total of 19.  The Nation will retain 9 Elk, leaving a total of 10 Elk for our Nation Community Hunters.  The allocation will be determined by Live Draw on July 24th, 2026, at 10am at Tla’amin Nation Governance Building Council Chambers.

To be eligible to enter the Draw, you must:                                       

  1. Be a Tla’amin Citizen.
  2. Be legally authorized to carry a firearm, MUST possess a Valid Firearms Acquisition Certificate (FAC) Card /or Valid Possession Only License (POL).

*PLEASE NOTE: Draw Winners from 2025 are NOT eligible to enter this year’s draw (regardless of if you were successful in harvesting an elk or not). The Elk Policy has been updated confirming that there can be only 1 Elk Draw Tag Winner per household.
