Job description:
Tla’amin Lake Contracting LP (TLC) is seeking an experienced grapple yarder hooktender
to join our team in the qathet Region. This role requires a strong understanding of grapple yarding operations and harvesting process in challenging terrain. This candidate needs to be physically fit for duty, safety-focused, operationally knowledgeable, and a collaborative team player.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Working with the yarding crew to plan efficient operations
- Leading the ground crew and communicating planning
- Following strict safety protocols and best practices
- Attending safety trainings and site meetings
About You
To qualify as a Hooktender, you need to have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and at least 3 years of hooktending experience. Experience with a mobile backspar is required.
